IQAC Report 2020-2021

An workshop was organized by Internal Quality Assurance Cell on 9^th November 2020 through Google Meet between 2 to 3 pm. Dr.SenthilNathan,  Director i/c UGC, Human Resources Development Center and Professor, Department of Educational Technology, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli,  addressed the gathering on the topic “New strategies for effective Teaching , Learning through virtual platform and preparing for  new normal”. He clearly explained about the role of 21^st century Teachers in handling the digital era. In this information era data is available by 24×7 with high speed, that is on whatever, whenever, and wherever basis (WWW), so the teachers should be equipped with electronic form of content necessary for teaching learning process. He added the importance on virtual teaching tools and to replace the old method of chalk and talk method.   He gave examples on UGC referred  learning content, CEG websites for quick and ready references for learners. Around 95 faculty and student community members participated. The Google meet ended with interaction and feedback session.
