Finishing School Programs – B.Com (CS)

A Workshop (Finishing School Programme) organised on 10^th January, 2015 for the Final Year Students of BCS. The Workshop was conducted by Ms.Mohana. Asst. Professor, Dept.of Human Resource Management, Madras School of Social Work, on eyes breaking session, importance of listening, knowing you, developing self-confidence, non-verbal communication, team building, positive attitude and interview skills. She conducted many activities and games on the above.  Then he clarified the doubts asked by the students. Students effectively interacted with the guest. The entire session was very useful, informative and interactive for the students. The programme was well rec2eived by the them.

Department of Corporate Secretaryship (Shift-I) organised a Workshop (Finishing School Programme) on the title “Women & Career” to equip the Final Year Students of BCS with some prerequisite qualities. This workshop was conducted on 13^th September, 2017, by MS. Ananda Lakshmi, Company Secretary. The Guest insisted to develop self-confidence, non-verbal communication, team building and positive attitude. She spoke about various courses that can be pursued during and after UG degree and highlighted the sources for earning and learning.  She conducted various activities, which was to let the students know that they must understand the situation well and then try to solve the problems.  Then she clarified the doubts asked by the students. Students effectively interacted with the guest. Workshop like this will enable the students to be acceptable and employable when they step into the portals of the outside world. The entire session was very useful, informative and interactive for the students. The programme was well received by them.
